We are a boutique destination wedding and portrait studio. Our main philosophy is to find art in the beautiful moments. We want images that you will display proudly. Images that will evoke the emotions of your love, your tenderness, and your art. We will take your session from prep all the way through post production with the utmost care and passion. We pride ourselves in helping you find beautiful ways to display your images; whether that is through beautiful handcrafted albums or large fine art prints. I came to Turks and Caicos Islands in the late 1990s on a vacation and fell in love. The colors, the soft beaches, and smooth trade winds felt like home. So the first opportunity I had to make it home, I did. Mermaid Pictures and Printing specializes destination wedding and family portraits. I was born in Bogota, Columbia and then raised in both the US and Germany. I had formal photography training in Los Angeles, where I opened PenguinOne Studios in 2001. For 10 years, I worked predominantly in the music and fashion industry, creating exciting and captivating images for both print and web publications.
