Physical Therapy Evaluations Your initial physical therapy appointment involves a 55 minute one on one evaluation that includes a thorough history intake and physical examination. During this initial assessment the physical therapist will develop a customized plan of care that incorporates the patients goals, individual needs of their body, and injury prevention. Physical therapy evaluations can also be implemented when special attention is needed to ensure safe movement for advanced movers or when performing daily activities. Quantum physical therapists design Pilates programs to be synergistic with a rehabilitative approach to healing. This allows patients to move earlier with injuries without pain, improve joint R.O.M, stability, strength, and enhance hands-on techniques. If you have injured yourself exercising in the past, integrating therapeutic Pilates based physical therapy will educate you on why the injuries occurred and how to prevent them in the future. Physical Therapy Follow up Follow-up visits at Quantum are also 55 minute one on one sessions and progress from the individualized treatment plan developed during the initial evaluation. During subsequent physical therapy visits we address muscle dysfunction and joint restrictions using manual therapy techniques, then we retrain your muscles to move the body in a healthier and more efficient way.
