It is common that patients will travel from West and even North County to seek out treatment from the staff at Telegraph Road Physical Therapy. We have treated students from most of the area schools, from football to dance and can give valuable advice on safe return to sports and activities. In todays healthcare environment, the patient has more responsibilities than ever. At Telegraph Road Physical Therapy, we are a valuable asset helping you steer down the road to recovery. Our aim is to return each patient to peak performance whether you are an elite gymnast, a weekend golfer, or someone who wants to maintain independence in daily activities. All of our Physical Therapists have advanced degrees, and you will always see the same Physical Therapist at each visit -- receiving that one-one-one compassionate attention that you deserve. We use an eclectic approach that with our vast experience allows us to expertly utilize specialized techniques so that you can return to an active lifestyle. Some of the more common strategies we employ are Manual Therapy, Mulligan technique, Mackenzie Method, Exercise based strengthening, neuromuscular re-education, Development Sequencing with pediatric and neurologic patients, Dynamic Movement Pattern Therapy, Strain/Counterstrain, Plan for at least one hour for your initial visit and please come 15 minutes prior to your appointment time to finish paperwork. Follow-up appointments run between 40 to 60 minutes. Sessions for patients who have experienced a stroke may be longer. Most importantly, we adapt our time to optimize your outcomes.
