Rich has over 16 years experience treating upper extremity conditions, lectures on both local and national levels, is an adjunct faculty member at Elizabethtown College, and is an Occupational Therapy Advisory Board Member for Richard Stockton College. Rich is complimented by a physical and occupational therapy staff with over 60 years of experience, collectively. The clinic is located at 801 Tilton Road (between Island Gym and Tilton Beauty Supply) Island Gym Plaza in Northfield, NJ 08225. Through consistent communication and continuing education, his Physical Therapy team treats all orthopedic conditions, both conservative and post-operative in nature, and excels in overuse/cumulative trauma disorders, athletic injury and rehabilitation, joint replacements, and return to work programs. His Occupational Therapy/Hand Therapy services are provided by Certified Hand Therapists and hand therapy fellows. These highly skilled therapists are proficient in the treatment of all hand and upper extremity pathologies, including arthritis, fractures, tendon injuries, peripheral nerve injuries, crush injuries, and repetitive use disorders. The scope of Hand Therapy services also includes custom orthosis fabrication. The Northfield office is a member of the Amputee Coalition of America, and has recently initiated intervention programs for upper and lower extremity prosthetic training. The Northfield NovaCare strives to provide patient and family education and consistent communication with both the patient and referral source to ensure the highest level of individualized care and a treatment plan based on the patients needs and goals.
