June Firkser is the Center Manager and treating Physical Therapist at NovaCare’s Merchantville clinic, located at 20 West Maple Avenue. As a member of the NovaCare team, June has distinguished herself as a compassionate, caring professional who is patient-focused. June is skilled in the treatment of a diverse patient population with orthopedic conditions and post-surgical interventions, including the treatment of cervical dysfunction and sports related injuries. Her hallmark is motivating patients to actively participate in their care and inspiring each individual to achieve a total healthy lifestyle. June is also a multisport endurance athlete and believes that along with physical therapy, injury prevention and nutrition are integral aspects in the rehabilitation of active individuals. A 2005 graduate of Drexel University with a Bachelor’s degree in Biology, June earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Thomas Jefferson University in 2008. In the pursuit of academic excellence, June has completed continuing education courses including Vestibular/Concussion Management, Neural Mobility, and Upper Quarter Manual Therapy. Her clinical affiliations include Underwood Memorial Hospital, Magee Outpatient Rehabilitation, and NovaCare Rehabilitation in Oaklyn.
