Our rehabilitation team offers a comprehensive approach to patient care, helping them achieve their greatest functional abilities. Our team of professionals includes a physiatrist (an independent private practice physician who specializes in physical medicine and rehabilitation), physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech therapists, respiratory therapists, rehabilitation nurses, nutritionist/dietician, case managers and medical specialists. MidAmerica Rehabilitation Hospital is accredited by The Joint Commission to provide specialized medical and therapeutic services. Combined with our state-of-the-art technology, experience and knowledge, this accreditation helps ensure that our services provide the expert care patients need to reach their maximum levels of independence and function.
