Brief History: Light the Way was founded in 2004 by Cindy Picht and Diane Popiela. Cindy is our Clinical Director and a Licensed Professional Counselor since 1999. Diane is our Director of Operations and involved in non-clinical functions. In 2009 we opened an office in Fort Lee, NJ. In 2011 we opened our third location, which is in Verona, NJ. Who We Are Together our counselors have well over 60 years experience in counseling, working with children, adolescents, individuals, couples and families. Our counselors are well equipped and possess a deep understanding of the mental and emotional pain people and children are exposed to daily. Our counselors possess a wealth of experience, both clinically and in life, including trauma, crisis, abuse, family issues, grief, individual growth, depression, anxiety and many others. We are continually developing methods which are creative and innovative to help bring about positive and healthy results.
