Through Kiwanis Stephan Parmett has become involved with many other non-profit organizations. He was on the board of directors of the Mineola Youth and Family Services. He is currently on the board of directors of Harbor Child Day Care, which provides daycare to over 850 children. He facilitates the fundraising for the Winthrop Hospital Pediatric Center, North Shore Autism and The Multiple Sclerosis society. Stephan Parmett also delivers Meals on Wheels and is involved with many other local and national charities. Marla Parmett for the past 30 years has been a school social worker with special needs children and is involved with many activities concerning special children.
