At Persimmon Woods Golf Club, golf is an experience for all of the senses ... every season of the year. Persimmon Woods Golf Club features 18 holes routed over 192 lush and rolling acres. It is one of metropolitan St. Louis' last remaining "pure golf" experiences -- tranquil, challenging and unspoiled by outside intrusions. Designed by renowned architect Keith Foster, Persimmon Woods Golf Club opened on June 16, 1998 to rave reviews and has been winning over golfers ever since. The club was recently selected to host the area's top amateur event, the 23rd Metropolitan Amateur Championship, in August of 2013. Persimmon Woods Golf Club currently has a limited number of golf memberships available in a variety of membership classes and all at affordable rates. A fully private golf club open to members and their guests Tuesdays-Sundays, Persimmon Woods is available for charity and civic golf outings on Mondays during the golf season. The clubhouse restaurant can be made available for non-member functions such as wedding receptions, rehearsal dinners or corporate meetings.
