The Richardson School is proud to be providing an exceptional summer camp in the Milwaukee area, the Bobcat Camp. The Bobcat Camp is a Southeastern Wisconsin summer program for children with disabilities which stresses learning opportunities and community integration experiences. Children have the opportunity to practice skills in both a safe, unique school environment and the Milwaukee community on a weekly basis. On-site campers will participate in and have access to an engaging playground, daily lunch, full gymnasium, sensory room, art classes, computer lab, social skills classes and much more. With daily off-site outings, the skills being taught during the day will be re-emphasized in a practical-use setting. Featuring themed weeks, The Bobcat Camp will give your child the opportunity to experience many new adventures including trips to local zoos, Old World Wisconsin, the Boerner Botanical Gardens, the IMAX, specialized tours and swimming at McCarty Park to name a few. The Richardson School’s expert staff provides an amazing staff-to-child ratio and specializes in teaching children with developmental/neurological disabilities and behavioral/emotional issues.
