Dr. Clymer is a facial plastic surgeon who specializes in cosmetic and reconstructive surgery of the face, nose, eyelids, head and neck. Dr. Clymer is currently in private practice in Nashville, Tennessee, and specializes in facial cosmetic surgery that is centered on delivering a natural look. Dr. Clymer is board certified by the American Board of Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery and the American Board of Otolaryngology. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery, the American College of Surgeons, and the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery. He is also a member of the AMA and Tennessee Medical Association, and has an appointment as a Clinical Assistant Professor at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. He has authored journal articles and textbook chapters in the field of facial plastic surgery and has served as the guest editor for the journal Facial Plastic Surgery. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Iowa, graduating with Honors and High Distinction, and earned his medical degree from the University of Iowa College of Medicine. He completed his residency at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee, and then went on to complete his fellowship in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery at the University of Rochester in Rochester, New York.
