At the high point in 1996, Speeds operated 151 trucks out of 14 locations, covering greater Portland, Vancouver, Seattle, and Salem. However, big does not always relate to success. Since 1996, we reduced low dollar auto club work to only 6 percent of our volume, and have eliminated all salvage tows (insurance totals to salvage auctions). The smaller, focused team now operates from our Beaverton, Parkrose, and Clackamas lots, and from our main office in the Central Eastside Industrial District, with state-of-the-art light duty and medium duty tow trucks and car carriers.
