Have you been interested in taking a sightseeing tour of the local Savannah area? I have a great option for locals and tourists alike, Savannah Tour Walk is a local walking tour hosted by a local resident and the tour is more of a tour for the lover of history, it is eye opening, not just sightseeing! Savannah is filled with so much history and local flare. It is such joy to be able to share the history and glory of this beautiful area. Not all historical tours are the same and the Savannah Tour Walk in Savannah, GA is truly historically accurate from start to finish. All of the walking tours are held Monday through Friday, one session beginning at 7:00pm and continuing until about 8:30pm. I have a rain or shine policy, if rain is in the forecast I suggest bringing your umbrella. Reservations are required so that I am aware of the size of each tour. It makes it difficult to provide a great tour when there are too many folks. I like the personable style sightseeing tours and so do the patrons involved. I do my best to keep the size of each tour at a good amount, so everyone can be involved with the information. This is one of the greatest things to do while you are visiting Georgia! Many people do not know that over 130 films have been filmed right here in Savannah. The two most popular movies are Forrest Gump and Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil. Other noted movies have been The General's Daughter, Glory, and Let’s Give Them Something to Talk About, The Conspirator, and The Lincoln Conspiracy. Along the way, I will impart on my guests some for the best restaurants and other tourism type adventures that can be enjoyed while in town. This may or may not be an authentic part of the sightseeing tour, but more along the lines of how much I enjoy sharing our culture and I am a long-time resident.
