Originally established in 1946 and under new ownership since 1993, Ringer's Auto School has been teaching young and old alike the rules of the road in order to take and pass the Massachusetts Registry of Motor Vehicles Driving Road Test. Ringer's Auto School specializes in teaching nervous drivers with patient and caring classroom and road lessons. Course curriculum includes 30 hours of classroom instruction, available evenings from 5:45 pm to 9:00 pm; the required 12 hours of road driving lessons in the Ringer's Auto School vehicle as well as the required 6 hours of observation of road driving lessons after which successful students earn the Registry of Motor Vehicles Certification for available auto insurance discounts. Also included, at no added cost, is the 2 hours of state -required parent classes for parents of students under age 18. Ringer's Auto School vehicles are available for RMV road tests for a separate fee. Private lessons and test sponsorships are also available at reasonable rates.
