Flounder gigging has been a favorite past time in Charleston for 100's of years. Stories tell of Native Americans gigging flounder using bamboo spears and torches to spot fish in the water. The Colonist used wooden giggs and kerosene lanterns. Today we illuminate the water with high powered halogen lighting, custom gigs, and we do it from the comfort and safety of our 17 foot flat bottom boats.
