Shelley Howe, MS, RD, CDN is a graduate of Syracuse University with a BS in Clinical Dietetics. She earned her MS degree in Nutrition from the University of Massachusetts in Amherst, Massachusetts. Following college Shelley taught Nutrition and Dietetics at Holyoke Community College in Holyoke, Massachusetts for 7 years becoming an Assistant Professor and Department Head. After moving back to her roots on Long Island she raised two sons, Daniel and Peter with her husband Jeff, Shelley worked in the Public schools as the Child Nutrition Program Director for 25 years. After retiring Shelley returned to her passion for nutrition education through a variety of Nutrition consultant channels.
