Founder and owner, Lori Luyten has operated a private midwifery practice since 2000 and in September 2009 she attended her 400th water birth! Lori's background in nursing meshed with years as a birth doula and Bradley instructor contribute to her balanced perspective on care for women. She practices what she calls "physiological midwifery" - understanding and working to preserve the physiological and hormonal balances of labor, birth and postpartum.
