Kane, Figler, Friedman, Dalessandro and Ellsesser are National Board Optometrists who take pride in their patients' eye care. The entire staff shares in the Doctors' professionalism and dedication to personal care. Family EyeCare Clinic was established by Brian Kane, O.D. in 1998 by merging two established practices in Lake County. The Painesville practice was established 56 years ago by Dr L.J. West and the Willoughby practice was started by Dr. Edw. S. Friedman 35 years ago. Through years of development we currently provide services in Family Optometry. We do have special interest in alternative vision correction regarding glasses, contact lenses, refractive surgery and corneal refractive therapy. We encourage you to ask any questions you may have regarding vision health. Our office extends its community involvement as members of the Painesville and Willoughby Rotaries, Painesville Area Chamber of Commerce, Willoughby Evening Lions Club, YMCA, and the Willoughby Area Chamber of Commerce. Professionally, our Doctors are also involved with The American Optometric Association and the Ohio Optometric Association, including services on the Insurance and Membership Committees.
