Family EyeCare Clinic was established by Brian Kane, O.D. in 1998 by merging two established practices in Lake County. The Painesville practice was established 56 years ago by Dr L.J. West and the Willoughby practice was started by Dr. Edw. S. Friedman 35 years ago. Through years of development we currently provide services in Family Optometry. We do have special interest in alternative vision correction regarding glasses, contact lenses, refractive surgery and corneal refractive therapy. We encourage you to ask any questions you may have regarding vision health. Our office extends its community involvement as members of the Painesville and Willoughby Rotaries, Painesville Area Chamber of Commerce, Willoughby Evening Lions Club, YMCA, and the Willoughby Area Chamber of Commerce. Professionally, our Doctors are also involved with The American Optometric Association and the Ohio Optometric Association, including services on the Insurance and Membership Committees.

Great Lakes Eyecare strives to provide excellence in eye care services and products in a personal, caring manner. We have a selection of nearly 800 frames, including sunglasses and designer styles such as Armani, Kenneth Cole, and Calvin Klein. Dr. Bozic prescribes some of the most advanced contact lenses available, including those for astigmatism and bifocal contact lenses. Our friendly staff is always willing to help our patients with selecting a frame, adjusting a current pair of glasses, and learning how to properly use and care for contact lenses.
