Established in 2002 In Redding, Jim & Penny Gironda got tired of hearing people say, "It's good enough for Redding." So when they opened Gironda's they vowed, "Nothing's too good for Redding." They said, "We've never heard of service being to good." The cuisine is influenced by Jim's grandmother, who moved to Chicago from Italy in 1929.
